“Oh no.. I did some stupid things but I wasn’t that bad!”

“Shut up!” Ligur hissed. “It ain’t official. ‘S’my day off and I got personal bus’ness. You help me out, I let you go where you’re s’posed to be and you don’t tell nobody.”

“Crikey, mate, you can’t just go doing people in when you want something done!”

“Stop grousin’. ‘S’quick, some wicked critter just like ev’body thought. Ye’d rather wind up shittin’ yerself in some pension home?”

The man appreciated Ligur’s teeth with an expert’s eye. “What do you want?”

“I seen the way you handled them snakes.”
