vulgarweedWoe! I so wanted to go to a neighborhood rock festival today...alas, Evil Uterus Overlord says: "No standing for hours for you!"
Oh well. Not that there aren't things to keep me busy here.
So, a couple days ago I suggested folks making posts to their alternative journals that aren't cross-posted to LJ (but are linked). Reason being, I find it hard to maintain enthusiasm for the others if there's nothing there but posts I've already seen on LJ. And, y'know, to get friends to make backup journals, we've already had plenty of stick; I think we deserve a little carrot.
I've got a snippet from a HP WIP - the still un-titled but now BACK-in-progress sixth story in the Ravenous Series.

This story was begun in 2003, so no DH spoilers (or OotP or HBP spoilers/compliance, for that matter!). This snippet is G or PG and features Dumbledore, Animagus!Snape, lots of cats, and an OC (or is he?)
