Christmas came early!
Nov. 8th, 2012 12:23 amAnd Santa brought me just about everything I wanted last night. Not just a re-election for Obama, but a decisive one. Every single one of the nasty old men who said horrible things about rape and abortion going down in flames. Elizabeth Warren. Tammy Baldwin. Marriage equality. Marijuana decriminalization.
And again, I get to be a blue-stater both as an Illinoisan and as a Virginian. (Oh, and George Allen? Take your smarmy racist ass on home. You are never getting back in the Senate.)
Life's pretty good right now.

Things I am not doing this year:
NaNoWriMo
Yuletide
I'm sad about the latter, but it was the right choice. I just wasn't feeling the passion for it this year, and looking at the list and the signup process was just kind of exhausting. Better to stick with the things I am feeling passionate about.
